Hello,
I just got a canon vixia HD camcoder. It comes with pixela editing software. This is not compatible with my 64 bit windows 7 system. I have contacted them and they are working on it and so they state at their site. No solutions yet.
The camera records in MTS format. The pixela output files are in m2ts format, if I could produce one that is.
I wish to request some help to find recommendations of a hopefully free software to edit mts just that same way MTS to M2TS, or MTS to MTS in which I could trim, crop, join, split, add effects and menus, etc.
When I look around the net for it there seems to be some confusion and all that pops up are converting tools. That's fine, I'll think of converting to other formats after the editing, but for the sake of quality, not before.
Any advise?
