First I want to say thank you for any help that can be provided. I have used this site alot and I do read threads, because of the amount of information I may have missed the answer I am looking for. So if you can direct me to a previous thread I would appreciate it. OK. So hear is my issue. I am using the big 3. and I cannot get the Director's Commentary to work on my authored project. Nothing in the process fails until I import everything into scenarist. The message I get is: This video has different aspect ratio. From what I have read this is not a big deal and the file that generates the error is a 11 mb file which is a blank file. Scenarist compiles the project without any issues. But when I try to play the project back using the director's comments there is no sound. Within the data editor of scenarist the audio file in question points to the ripped director's comment audio file within my project dummy folder. The file is 62.132 KB AC3 and I can get it to play in WMP. Please if you have any ideas of where I should start to fix this let me know.

I've no idea what "big 3" means nor what Scenarist is or how to use it. Anyway, being in your position I'd definitely have a close look at that AC3 audio file in question. Can you play it in foobar2000?
What does eac3to (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966) say about that file?

The video parameters should be the same within a VTS (resolution, AR or fps). Most players and all recorders would accept a variable AR, but it's not legal and therefore rejected by scenarist. With so many details what do you expect me to say?
