GreedyHMA + SmartDeinterlace

Hi,
i have a 4:3 NSTC/FILM (+- 45%/61%)Interlaced/Progressive source that is heavy interlaced (with many horizontal lines).
I used GreedyHMA alone and it gives me a bad result. The video seems to be shake/freeze a little.
And i just wondered using GreedyHMA (1,0,4,0,0,0,0,0) + SmartDeinterlace.
Is that possible?
Whats the possible cause of that little "shaking/freezing"?

Hi-
If you want to deinterlace with GreedyHMA, then you want GreedyHMA(1,0,4,0,1,0,0,0). That second 1 is its vertical filter-deinterlacer. And, of course it's possible to use the Smart Deinterlacer instead.

However, if by "shake/freeze " you mean that it flickers-shimmers-flashes, then you might be better off using Decomb. You can find information about it down in the AviSynth forum.
