Thank You Moderators (and Members)!!

I just wanted to say thanks to the moderators and community members here at Doom9. Like many, I'm a member of several forums. As of yet, I have not found another forum that has a better feel than here. As long as you're not trying to wreck shop, the community here seems to genuinely help you out. You can get pretty sound advice, find great articles and threads for newbies, and don't really have to fear asking a stupid question. (provided you've searched)

Folks for whom English is a second language don't get bashed here. People seem to make an honest attempt to understand what they mean to say, and that's wonderful in itself.

I also enjoy that I don't have to read thousands of useless posts with people merely posting for the sake of posting. It occurs in every forum, but here it seems to be less than at other forums. I also enjoy the fact the moderators here are much kinder than other places. Hell, I've been on forums built for KIDS where the moderators will abruptly lock threads, delete posts, and ban users for honest mistakes or voicing their concerns/opinion/etc.

So for what it's worth, thank y'all for a wonderful place. I've always enjoyed being here, it feels like home. (if one can have a home online) :)

I also enjoy that I don't have to read thousands of useless posts That's thanks to Doom9's carefully designed rule set, IMHO, especially rules 3 and 11. So, while offering much appreciated props to mods and members, let's not forget the admins Doom9 and Swede.

Ah, I meant admins as well. I considered 3 types of users in my mind: guests, members and moderators. I mistakenly lumped admins into moderators.
