i am thinking of upgrading to windows 7 later on next month, i have vista on this computer and am going to clean upgrade to windows 7 (where it basically starts again as a new computer) as i have heard this is the better thing to do. i was wondering when i do this, because i have norton 360 and windows office 2007 on this pc (which both have a certain amount of pcs that they can be installed on) when i clean upgrade to windows 7, i will install these again, will this count as another pc? (because i have no more pcs to download it onto on my windows office & norton)
and this would mean it would cost me more money, thanks in advance :D

If you uninstall the software before wiping you system, you should be able to "deactivate" the software. You might have to call the company in question to make sure it doesn't use up additional licenses.

I wouldn't worry about Norton 360, since there are equally good freeware alternatives. Office 2007 I understand, though :)

If you do a straight upgrade, everything should be fine. However, upgrades are usually slower, and can lead to problems. I always suggest a proper clean install.

1) Give Microsoft Security Essentials a try, it's free and light.

2) You should be fine with Office 2007, I've reinstalled it almost a dozen times now on various machines with various operating systems, I've never had it installed on more than 2 machines at once, and never had a problem activating it.

1. You should be fine. Basically, if you don't change out the CPU or MB you should be fine. Office should reinstall with no issue.

2. If I were you I would dump Norton and go with MSE. No more worrying about license fees and it works without eating up your system resources.

Good luck.
