I have an MPG file that is video, and I want to put it on a DVD so I can play it on my DVD player and watch it on my TV.
I copied the MPG file to a blank DVD but I get "Media Error" when I put it in my DVD player. What do I have to do to get the MPG to play on my TV?
Thanks

You've already asked this question in an earlier thread - and, lo and behold, "neuron2" provided you with the identical suggestion that I previously made to you at:

You have taught me well, setarip_old.
I never used DVD Flick, but your endorsement is enough for me.

And you, my friend, have taught me to simply refer to duplicate posts by new members ;>}

Sorry, to me that was different questions. One was about authoring (whatever that is) and the other was about copying MPG files to a DVD so it would play on a DVD player attached to the TV. Apparently that is somehow the same thing?

Apparently that is somehow the same thing? Yes. "Authoring" means creating a DVD structure that can be burned to a disk, resulting in a legal DVD that can be played by standalone players.

Thanks
