Does Blu-Ray support any resolutions below 720x480?

Title pretty much says it all. HD-DVD mandated support for a whole slew of <480i resolutions all the way down to 320x240. I'm just curious if there's any similar support within Blu-Ray, or if that's another casualty of the format war.

Oh yeah, I'm not talking about PIP/commentary video or anything like that, I mean for the main feature.

Of course it's possible. Sony BlueCode allows you to use 704x480 and it's made by one of the BD licence owners. And it also claims to follow strictly the BD specs.

From the Blu-Code specs, for Bluray the maximum allowed resolution is 720x480/720x576 (60i/50i for primary video and 23p/24p/25p/30p valid also for secondary).
What it's allowed is lower resolution (from 720x576 to 352x240) only if you output for DVD (since the encoder itself can output for bluray but also for dvd).

Sorry, I don't have access to the BD specs, they are way too expensive for me, as an individual. I had however the specs of a BD encoder, if they lied to me, I lied you too :p
