I recently backed up my own Blu-Ray of Sin City as an MP4 with AVC and AAC... Then I wanted to re-encode it to make it compatible with my Standalone DVD-Player... So I loaded it up in Virtualdub with the DirectShow plugin and converted it to Xvid with AC3 5.1 channel sound.... Then on playback, I realised that the movie was all mixed up.... I presume it was because of the chapters... This is the info of the file I backed up...

I tried AVIDemux and MeGUI, but the preview of the resultant file is still the same as the one outputted by Virtualdub... Any Hints??

Do this using your original disk as source, not the MP4.

BTW, why did you use VBV for an MP4 container?

well, i thought it would prevent jerky playback if i happen to watch to it on my best friend's PC(which is an old P4 1.7Ghz with 224MB RAM)... So yeah hence the VBV... And regarding your idea, well yeah I've obviously thought about it... But unfortunately I ain't with my own PC as of now... and neither am I at home... I' around 650KM away from it... :( but happened to have the backup on my laptop... So yeah any other ideas to convert it to xVid or DivX??

PS: It ain't a downloaded clip...
