I have a number of m2ts files (video h264, audio ac3) which I encoded (using Xvid4PSP) video from a number of Premier projects (1440X1080) via DEBUGFRAMESERVE and I didn’t set the PAR to 16:9 so it stayed at 1:1. When I use multiavcHD to make an AVCHD disk, multiAVCHD sets the PAR to 16:9 and all looks good when played via my Blu-ray player. However I want to have the m2ts files with correct PAR for other uses. Is there a way to reset some bytes in the m2ts files to get correct PAR without re-encoding?
I’ve searched doom9, videohelp.com and google and found numerous tools to change the PAR, but none for m2ts files. FWIW, I’ve re-encoded one of the small files as 16:9 and its is exactly same size as the 1:1 file and a file compare indicates only a few bytes being different! As it took me about a week to do the original encodes, I don’t fancy re-encoding.
