avidemux image sequence import/export?

it's my understanding that avidemux currently only exports an image
sequence in jpg format. is that correct?

are there any plans in the near future to support export to other still
image formats for image sequences? i regularly use tga, tif, png, bmp.

also, i asked this with regard to virtualdub a while back. could we get
the feature to begin the image sequence with a number of our choosing?
and also, to define the number of leading zeroes to assign in the naming
protocol? i often have very long sequences and work with them in sub-
sequences. when i re-export the sub-sequences, i'd like to be able to
export such that the numbering matches the original numbers from
where it came in the larger sequence.

i often work on a mac so, while i know that virtualdub does some of this,
avidemux is available to me on this platform.
