I love the program and makes my life alot easier, but for some reason if I am converting a movie and I specified it as 2 CDs or more, it will freeze up. Its annoying because I like to queue up stuff and go to bed. The worst part is I do not even care to use the splitter because I like to keep the movie whole for my media center. Any help is appreciated.

If you prefer the movie whole, then why split it in the first place?

Yeah, good question. If you don't need it split but it's splitting it automatically, then you're setting it for 2 (or 3) CDs. To keep it from splitting, rather than making it Predefined Sizes, make it for Custom Sizes and specify something besides 1400 or 2100 MB - something like 1399 or 2101 MB.

I don't know why it's freezing up when splitting, though. It shouldn't do that. Maybe someone else has an idea.

And welcome to the forum. :)

It splits it automatically. Personally I would rather just turn it off, but that is not an option. My main reason for the question was because of the times I want to have it do up like 5 movies while I sleep and not have to babysit it.

It splits it automatically.
It splits it because you're telling it too, look at the settings....... see 'manono' post.

Thank you Manano, it did work offsetting by 1MB. Your help was much appreciated.

so, I'm having this exact same problem and would actually like to split the larger output into 700MB pieces. every time i set up an encode in AutoGK for multiple CDs, VDub freezes during the splitting. any help would be appreciated. i generally encode using XVid w/ VBR MP3 as the audio track. this issue occurs regardless of whether or not there are external subtitles encoded for the movie (if that's a potential issue).

any suggestions for getting to correctly auto-split >1CD files would be much appreciated. thanks!
