Hey guys i was wonderin how to up the quality percentage in the file information feature after ive loaded my avi file.. I have around 50 which is not that good... i am using 640x272 resolution with max bit of 895 and min of 450... i dont know what i could be doin wrong.. motion modulation at 30, curve comp. symetric at 20, high pass 270, low pass 2500. drf2,8... anyone have any suggestions.. Lost Boys is the film.. i have try settings of antishit 16,0,0 with 0 motion modulation and symetric curve compression of 15 and symetric at 15, 25.. i have no idea what to do.. i have looked at koepi and dooms info.. can anyone help? thx .. later

I'm not sure what you meant by the "quality percentage in the file information" But it looks to me your min bit is set too high. Try lower it to around 300, that'll give hi-motion parts more bits to work with.

You can't without reencoding the whole thing. Then you can put on a smoother, or lower the resolution as the two most obvious ways.

But if you had done a Compressibility test before encoding, the DivX Quality(0-100) wouldn't have come as a surprise.

And I agree with dragonlz that your minimum bit rate is too high.
