I'm sure that the mkv can play properly and mkvtoolnix is in updated version.
I'm using windows xp sp3

Hi!
You might want to try the recently released "MKVCleaver"...

Yes, it can play properly.
any problem related to conflict of codecs?

If the GUIs don't work try using mkvextract directly from the command line. Conflicting codecs can't be the problem as mkvextract does not rely on any codecs.

Normally, executing mkvextract without parameters will display a help text but mine didn't

3.2.0 is compatible with XP. Use "mkvextract -h" for the help. (May be a regression, but don't have older versions installed right now.)

AVIMux GUI can produce broken MKV files. If you used AviMux GUI to mux, try using that or eac3to to demux.

@adrianmakI used MKVCleaver but still cannot demux the stream.
I clicked 'Extract track' nothing happen Did you first click on the primary track in the left window and then place a checkmark next to each stream in the left window?

You can try tsmuxer too
or try re-muxing in mkvmerge first, then mkvextract

Perhaps you can contact the uploader, and tell him to use proper tools to create mkv files.

What types of tracks did you include in this MKV file when you created it? (video, audio, subtitles) How many of each?
