not really, all i wanted to do was backup a dvd with dvd rebuilder and it says i cant as i don't have the cce software.

guess i wont be able to do it then, oh well.

There are other encoders that can be used.

i dl ed the trial of cce and all i get is over 2 dozens pop up errors and then it aborts at 66 percent, like what other encoders? I thought dvd rb pro was a complete and fully functional program?

and now i find Nero 9 no longer works once i have dvd rb installed.

(can you tell this is frustrating? :()

You should ask these things in the DVD RB forum.

Get and use the HC Encoder which DVD-Rebuilder also supports:

Another vote for HC. It usually delivers superior quality to CCE SP2 in my experience, and it's free, and it works perfectly fine within DVD-RB :)
