play dvd from hard drive over network

Hi, Advice please.. After decrypting to hard drive and accessing file over LAN to tv, play stops at end of each vob and next vob must then be selected. What can I do to make playback continuous.

What's actually doing the decoding on the playback side? Generally: If you made a VIDEO_TS folder, open VIDEO_TS.IFO and you'll get the first play menu, from which you can make your selection. If you made an ISO that you've mounted, do the same. If you ripped one titleset or PGC (effectively creating a main-movie, no-menu situation), re-rip and concatenate the VOBs into one and play that so you don't have to select the next VOB.

Not sure if this helps, but this is another alternative:

Rip your DVD to ISO format. Then on your networked computer, mount the ISO with MagicDisc and play as a normal DVD.

If you simply use another PC to watch the DVD and not a standalone I fail to see where is the problem: just share the folder (with ReadOnly attributes, to be sure) in network and map it on the viewer side. Any DVD oriented player would read the structure like it were on the local drive.

For a standalone (TV, mediaextender, bd player, receiver etc.) some DLNA restrictions apply.
