View Full Version : Nero AAC encodes at different bitrate

Using MeGUI 0.3.3.4, Its happed since I installed Windows 7. I selected a video file as the input and set the Audio to encode at 40 ABR. The end result came Weird.

Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 14.2 Kbps
Maximum bit rate : 16.4 Kbps
Channel(s) : 6 channels

I never set it to go to 6 channels.

Also unable to use HE-AAC+PS, the logs tell:

PS (=Parametric Stereo) only works on stereo, not with 6 channels.

I think you misunderstood. The input was 2ch but the output was suppose to be 2ch but it came out as 6ch. I never set it to go 6ch.
