Verbatim S/L - New Mfg Location

I just obtained a spindle of 100 Verbatim single layer DVD+Rs and noticed on the wrapper that they're not manufactured in Taiwan (which has been the most frequent location), Japan, Singapore, or even India.

In fact, they were manufactured in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

I can only surmise that Mitsubishi Chemical opened a plant there.

Time will tell if these discs match the consistent excellence of all Verbatim discs from all previous locations (excluding the horrible quality D/L stuff that came out of India)...

***EDIT*** I did a little Googling and it appears that these discs have been around for about 6 months now, with all reports being good.

I just bought 2 packs of 10 Verbatim discs ... made in Taiwan... I had to choose between Made in India, Made in China, and Made in Taiwan, so I went for Taiwan. Plain DVD+R and Lightscribe were in India, I think, DVD-R were in China. DVD+R I got are from Taiwan.
God knows where it's really made but so far Verbatim discs are consistent quality for me. Code is MCC004
