I've seen the power of this application and it has great potential, regardless if it costs money. And with spursengine cards along with CUDA support, you can get some crazy encoding times.
Someone who is building a strictly HTPC for recording and encoding video could use something like this to great effect.
That being said, why would a program like Tmpgenc not support encoding or at least stream copy of AC3 and encoding to MKV?
MKV is quickly becoming the defacto standard for h.264 video files, especially with its durability as a video container. Wonder if they have it out for it.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me?
