Hi guys,

I've got a slight problem. I'm using Xmpeg 4.2 and encoding divx with 2pass and my rips are perfect!!!! And I do mean perfect. With my tricky settings I've gotten my shit EXACTLY like a DVD. I mean everthing is cool. Sound video etc.

The only discretion is sometimes, and It doesn't always do this (i don't know if its a playback or what) there are only maybe 1 or 2 spots in my movie where everthing will be going along perfectly, then for about 1 sec. or less, the movie will speed up and then return to normal. And while its sped up, the sound will miss. Meaning that it won't play, but after 1 sec or under, it is fine. I mean it looks just like its in fast-forward briefly.

Anyone know about this and how to correct it?

thanks,

chip

Try to extract the sound with virtual dub and then mux it again with nandub.
it often works for me.

virtual dub:
file:open video file->file:save wav

nandub:
file:open video file->video:direct stream copy->audio:mp3->file:save avi
