View Full Version : Skipping audio

I will explain how I created the file and see if I went wrong somewhere: I ripped the AC3 file using DVD2AVI. I then used VFAPI reader to create a dummy avi that virtual dub could read. I then tried to use Virtual Dub AC3 to create the divX movie while interleaving the AC3 stream. I even delayed the audio track by the amount that the file said. The video looks great but the audio keeps skipping or has sound blips that keep happening every few seconds. Should I create the divX avi file first without the sound then use nandub to interleave the AC3 stream and the video file? Please help, this is driving me crazy:(

Thanks in advance!!!!

This site rocks!!!:)

Have you been encoding your movie and adding audio at the same time??? (sounds weird to me:) )
If so, try to do it separately. Make your avi first than multiplex it with Nandub (using of course Interleaving option).
take care

aleksander,

You are exactly right!!! I made my avi first with virtual dub then interleaved with nandub and it worked.

Thanks,
