I'm looking for a way to convert a DVD disc or ISO file into a single matroska mkv file.

I want to keep the main title, all subs and sound tracks.

This program: MakeMKV (http://www.makemkv.com/), sets out to do exactly what I want, but out of the two DVD discs and one DVD ISO that I've tried, it failed on all of them.

I know you can do this with mplayer/mkvtoolnix "by hand" in a number of steps, but I'm looking for a near-one-click solution, like MakeMKV only that I'd like it to actually work...

Any ideas? TIA!

There is definitely something wrong with your sources/images/DVDs/Dvd player...
MakeMkv is the intool for your plans.
Never had a bad rip.
Maybe awkward copy protection.:rolleyes:

@garton

Hi!

1) What is the original source material that you used to create the .ISO image file, BluRay or DVD?

2) What software and procedures did you use to create the .ISO image file?

3) Have you succewssfully played the .ISO image file on your PC?
