I am also having a problem when I disable pathfinder brings up all these diferent chapters with different lengths not sure which chapter is right
had this problem with Doubt one chapter is right the others play movie out of order

It would be beneficial if the O.P. clearly stated that the problem being addressed is regarding either a DVD (which I've deduced from the second post) or a BluRay disc...

BTW - If an MKV container suits your needs, you might try (presently freeware) "MakeMKV"...

The correct name of the function is "PathPlayer" - and it can be accessed by clicking on the checkmark in a green circle at the upper right corner...

DVD Fab 7 whipped it out without a hitch. Well worth the license fee, Fab 7 is like DVDD and Shrink combined, then brought forward to 2010, absolutely a Best Buy for DVD software, and I don't (unfortunately) make anything from the endorsement. :-)

With such copyprotections, use mplayer dvdnav://1 instead. It works for me in all cases where dvd://1 fails.
