ok i i am trying to encode Get carter to 2cds i added a 300 bit along with 7 oter auto added encodes but after its done i had it set to 1400mbs and it ends at around 980mb i know that 300 is the highest it will go for Lm how can i make the final size bigger video wize i know i ca beef upt he audio just wanted to know is i change the fila size to 1999mb and do a couple more encodes that might emlarge the final size or is this movei just have good compression to it? will i waste my time do9ing what i purpose?

you may have reached the limit of the codec. Increasing the resolution, if it is not already at 640xXXX would certainly raise your filesize.
Also, try the DT encoding method found on my website, but since you're using 2 CD's and this movie seems to encode quite easily, use some lower values to start with, like maybe 7000 and 10000 for your first DT pass.
Incidently, what is the diff threshold you are getting for your encode? if it's zero, what diff threshold is shown if you decrease the filesize to 979mb? i.e., what is the lowest diff threshold that FU will show you?

o at 1400 and after setting it to 979 it was still 0 threshold i upped the res and with 12 diff encodes it ended up at 1240 without audio....

oh hehe sorry i ment 12 differenet encodes the old way with LM FM .

i suggest using DT encodes as I said before, try method 3 from the guide.
