Can't deinterlace this video

Latest avidemux stable version.

Neither Yadif nor any other deinterlace filter does anything on this video.
The fact that one of the two dimensions isn't a multiple of 8 (yeah, a friend grabbed it some years ago, probably from analog tv, and I don't know which settings he used) doesn't matter, because I tried to resize it without luck.

Is that sample the actual source file? or a conversion you tried without luck? Because it looks like it's been resized before being de-interlaced rather than the other way around. If that AVI is all you have then I think you're pretty much stuffed.

In other words, vhs or directly from the old free air tv system (pal).
