View Full Version : BeHappy + normalize: "protected memory" error

I have ripped two DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 audio tracks from two blu-rays using eAC3to. I am feeding them into BeHappy with NicDtsSource, processing them with "Downmix - Stereo" and "Normalize to 100%". Here's what it says every time:

Starting job 1_3_audio.dts->1_3_audio.mp3
Found Audio Stream
Channels=2, BitsPerSample=32 int, SampleRate=48000Hz
encoder\lame.exe -b 128 -h -S --silent - "D:\...\1_3_audio.mp3"
Writing RIFF header to encoder's StdIn
Writing PCM data to encoder's StdIn
Error: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
at BeHappy.AviSynthClip.dimzon_avs_getaframe(IntPtr avs, IntPtr buf, Int64 sampleNo, Int64 sampleCount)
at BeHappy.Encoder.encode()

The machine is 6 months old, with 6GB RAM, and I have encoded a number of other DTS/AC3 blu-ray tracks with no problems. These two tracks, however, consistently give this result (and consistently 2-2.5 mins after starting the operation). As such, I doubt it's a memory problem.

I ran the same encode without normalizing, and it works fine.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I think is a problem with second pass (normalize) with special conditions.
Thanks for the report, is in my TODO list.
