View Full Version : tsMuxeR does not recognize all tracks in m2ts files

I'm using tsMuxeR to filter out unwanted audio tracks from blu-rays. Recently I tried to open one of these m2ts files with tsMuxeR and got the error message "Some tracks not recognized".
After testing all of my m2ts files it looks like, that tsMuxeR is not
able to recognize all tracks in m2ts files, which have been produced by tsMuxeR itself. Either an audio track or even the video track is missing. What's going wrong ?

Hi!

Are you sure it's not just a/some subtitle (PGS) stream/s that are not being processed?

In the changelog it is said that it processes subtitles, too!

I'm also curious, myself. I still have to find the software that demux my subtitles from HDTV.

IGS (menu/popup), TextST (subtitles) and DD+ (audio) tracks are not recognized nor processed by tsMuxeR.

I was talking about DVB subtitles, that are PGS, like those on DVD and BD. I know that are differences, but hey, DVB subtitles are standardized and anyone has access to them, even free, while BD subtitles are still reverse engineered, as the documentation is not public - but strangely enough, there are several programs to deal with BD subtitles and none (known to me, except PjX) that does the same for HDTV/DVB.

Latest ProjectX is able to process HDTV DVB subtitles

I know this from you (on the twin forum), however, some subtitles from ARTE HD are still not recognised (I see them on TV but the corresponding file is empty, 0kB size). The TXT ones are ok (as usual, since I'm doing this for years).

ARTE HD has only one DVB subtitle stream (french) and this stream is processed fine by ProjectX (e.g to son + BMPs)
