About one week ago I registered here to write an answer into a thread.
After account activation I got the message
You are not allowed to post or reply until you have been registered for at least 5 days.
OK - you rule, I know. Please don't misunderstand me - but what sense should that have?
Everyone wants to wait 5 full days for an answer?
Every newbie is willing to wait 5 days to help?
Every newbie is willing to write on a paper to remember what to answer to which thread?
