Hi, i'm trying to burn movies from this harddisk recorder camera to DVD. I'm not interested in menus, chapters or anything, i just want the movies directly to DVD that is playable on a normal DVD player.

The camera saves each movie to files called MOV001.mod, MOV002.mod etc. When i open such a file in GSpot, it is recognized as VOB format with MPEG-2 and AC3.

So it looks like these files are really close to something that i can burn to DVD, but i'm not sure how to continue now.

What software should i use to do the final step(s)? As far as i know the files need to get the correct file name and ifo files are missing.

You could try this;

Thanks, i gave it a shot with TMPEG trial version and it gave really good results already.

It gives some warning when i import the .mod files but i was able to continue anyway. After that it created the DVD files and structure that i was able to burn to disc.

Looks like TMPEG imported the files directly without reencoding which is exaclty what i wanted.
