Help u genius ppl out here
i'v been ripping that same movie ( pink floyd the wall) for my use on my computer from dvd to vcd
after long tedius work ( 10 days) using GKNOT and ripping with DVDDecrepter i got that final result...:scared:
the .avi file is ceperated from the .mp3 file

well sir i wish that was as e-z as u say it,:o :sly:
cos only 10 minuts of the movi and evfen less took something like 2GB and note that well
not 20 MB but full 2GB
and sins we r here i had this question, How come the audio file and the video file dont sincronise well ( i played the voice file(mp3)from winamp and the video file (.avi) on winmplayer 7.0 ) ?:confused:
great to know there is life out there :D

I don't recommend that very often; but how about using Xmpeg/Flask or one of the VCD-rippacks for your first encoding ventures? Sure, you're likely to have some stability issues. But I can imagine you must have become a bit frustrated by now and would welcome some quick results. Give it a try.

BTW, 2 GB for 10 Minutes? That sounds like uncompressed (RGB-)video. Perhaps you just forgot to select a codec in Virtual Dub. (If you used Nandub with DivX3.11, this can't be, of course.)

You have to set audio and video streams to direct stream copy.
then take a look in video/frame rate if this matches.
and then save as .avi.
btw, there are guides for this.
