i follow the guide here @ doom9 and I hope to make a SVCD with subs, but as soon an i try to open the Virtualdub frameserv in CCE Win2k shuts it down with this message to me:
"cctsp.exe has generated errors and will be shut down by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. [Cancel]"

the DVD2AVI by VFAPI is ok.
wtf?

so i search forums trying i think everything i read.
proxy on / proxy off
audio on /off
reinstall handler
filters / no filters
install Wrapperavi (name?)
the most anoying thing is its works great on friends comp (vdub 1.4.5, no win2k updates)

i run win2k, sp2
virtual dub 1.4.7
CCE 2.50
AMD 750MHz

please..

No one has really figured out what is making some poeoples cce crash.

1. Somethings they have offered is 2 try and run a memory test program ...make sure you dont have any memory errors or leaks.

2. Also make sure you dont have any programs installed that might cause errors as that could also cause such a problem.

3. If you are overclocking try lowering your FSB settings ....

4. Make sure your Virutal memory is being managed by windows 2000

If none of those seem 2 help you can head over here in the sticky section http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13016

Also make sure the audio is at 44.1KHz. CCE seems to have problems with audio sampled at 48KHz (at least when frameserving with avisynth).

thanks ill look into that.

@chainsaw135.
3 and 4 are not the problem since i have not overclocked and win2k takes care of Vmem. What do you mean on #2? i dont have virtual studio or anything like that. the only one of the proggs installed that gives errors (that i know of) is Win, and now whan frameserving with VDub, CCE.
on the memory checking, cam you give me an example of program that check that for me? will Sandra do?

@segv. I frame serv from DVD2AVI without audio. Should i try serving with audio at 44.1KHz?

-also the shutdown accurs when i try to load the VDub frameserv.
