How resolve "Unknown Format" error while live streaming with ffmpeg ?

I am using ffmpeg library.
I want to decode the WMA type audio stream .I am
able to play mp3 streams but when I am passing wma url with av_open_input_file, its always giving error like - "Unknown format"

I apply following url for test,
http://tvradio.ert.gr/radio/liveradio/asx/deytero.asx
http://village883.live24.gr/village883
http://www.mediabox.gr/streams/rockfm.asx


Any help would be appreciated.
