Hi everyone,

I got my first bluray player and burner and I am having a little question.

When I have a BluRay on my PC which has DTS-HD Master Audio EN and GER, how can I only copy the movie with theese two audio layers to a BD-25 without losing audio quality.

I am using BD-Rebuilder and selected movie only so that I only have the main movie. Then I deselect all subtitles and only selected the en and german DTS HD master audio layers.

Now when I start the process and check the new bluray disc folder with BD-Rebuilder I get the english DTS HD Master Audio but the german is only named as 5.1 AC3 audio, so no original HD audio ?

If I only select one audio layer, so only english or only german, than everything is fine.

So my question is, because I do not know all the technical audio/video details, is the reencoded audio layer named as 5.1 AC3 still the DTS HD MA Audio or not?

(Btw: I also selected the keep hd audio files and the two bluray options( i do not know the exact option at the moment, but there are only 2 + the one which meanse keep hd audio) in the settings dialog.

Thank you very much.

Bye,

If you have "Keep HD Audio for BD25 Encoding" BD-RB very definitely keeps the HD audio intact. If the output is AC3 5.1 -- then so was the original.

1. Are you positive you have BD25 selected as the output? HD audio isn't kept for BD-5/9
2. Are you positive you have "Keep HD Audio for BD25 Encoding" selected on the SETUP screen?
3. Are you positive the original german track was DTS?
