Yep, I'm asking for help. Although I know how to use the limited amount of plugin's and scripts that I know, I'm wondering if there's someone out there that knows better than I. (Most of this forum :P)
I've got several VHS tapes dating mostly from 1993, and '94. They are old youth videos and contain lot's of memories, and I finally am getting around to trying to do a transfer to DVD. Now, before everyone starts off on the "Do you have teh thousand dollar VHS deck with TBC/DNR & BBQ??", no, I don't. Thus, I know my output will be limited, but I do have a more than average/acceptable setup. What I'm hoping to get out of this is:
Color Correction (I've never been strong at this. Hopefully someone can post something much more accurate and in-depth than Tweak(blah settings), which is the extent of what I use.)
And detail enhancement as far as it can go. Now, from looking at my sources and getting them on my PC, I know not to expect wonders or anything close to that. I do know how to use LSF and how to degrain, but beyond that for actual video restoration is beyond me.
Because of the rather private nature of these videos, (no, it's not pr0n, they just have very personal meaning to me.) I'd like you to PM me for the link to the sample video's I've uploaded.
