Hi guys,
I encode videos within Blu-ray/BD9 specs with x264. For storage on my HTPC, I would like to mux them to mkv, but I want to keep up the option to remux to AVCHD/BD9 with tsMuxer. However, if I mux to mkv and demux again, the H264 streams are not identical and I assume from another thread that it has something to do with the removal of "--aud data" (I'm not too familiar with this). Can anyone explain why the streams are not identical? I computed the md5 hash of both streams. However, if I mux with tsMuxer to AVCHD and demux again to .264 stream, the original and the demuxed stream are identical.
