Trying to find out burning speeds for Blu-Ray media

I am trying to find out burning speeds for Blu-Ray media at 2 speed, 4 speed, 8 speed, etc.

I am asking here, because I know the majority of members on here are very clued up on the subject ;)

The drive I will be buying after the new year will be the:-

Pioneer BDR-S03XLB Internal SATA 8x Blu-Ray Writer/ReWriter, 16x DVD±RW Drive

I know pioneer are good at optical drives, so I have made my choice!

And if a certain combination of burner and disk supports 8x is another issue.
And if the 8x-burned-disk is readable (immediately after or next month or next year) is the third ;)
