Hello all,
At the moment I have the default audio format for shared mode set at 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD), as I listen to CD material most of the time using Foobar2000.
However, I watch movies which might have a DTS soundtrack (for example) which is encoded at 24 bit, 48000 Hz.
Is the only possible solution is using an exclusive mode for each application, so I'll get the audio as it was meant to be?
:thanks:

* EDIT *
While trying to use "MPC Audio Decoder" in MPC-HC, which should work in WASAPI exclusive as far as I know, I realized I could not connect FFDShow nor AC3Filter, and they both falls back to DirectSound.
I do manage to connect using DivX AAC Decoder, for example.
