So what's the deal with these two plugins? Are they compatible with each other? Can I multithread a server so that the client will max out the cpu of the server? Can I also multithread a client so it can retrieve the source and apply the filters as fast as possible?

Ah forget it. I'll try Avisynth Virtual File System for my distributed encoding. MT and avisynth mt does not play well with tcpdeliver or doesn't improve speed at all.
