Two DVD ISOs to One DVD ISO

Hi there. I apologize if this isn't the proper board to ask this question on. If so, please redirect me.

Anyway, I bought Pixar's Up recently, and like all Pixar films, they have the short film before the actual feature. Using DVDFab HD Decrypter, I was able to rip both the feature-length film and the short film into two separate ISOs. Both ISOs play fine on their own.

However, I am curious if I can combine these into one ISO, so that by loading one file, I can have them play seamlessly together? Is this possible?

Why didn't you just rip the DVD in Full Disc mode?

Anyway, you can load both ISOs into popular transcoding programs and use their re-author feature to play one after the other.

For seamless playback, however, you will need to demux both and remux them with muxman.

Alternatively, if you extract the files from the .ISO image files, you can also use DVD2One to seamlessly join them - provided the video and audio attributes are identical. (I believe this would hold true for any program being used for a seamless join)...

Well, I very well could have just ripped the whole DVD, but I wanted just the two titles and I wanted to put them together. Anyway, thanks a lot for the suggestions. I'll look into this a bit and hopefully have a solution. Thank you.

blutach, I apologize, but I couldn't really understand your response. setarip_old, I tried your recommendation, but for whatever reason, when I tried to use that program, it froze at 99% and never finished. I am not sure if it's because of something I did or the program is buggy.

Alright, I got it to work. Thank you, all. I just used DVD2one and it was okay. The one thing I would still like to be able to do though is seamlessly link to titles, but for whatever reason, when I attempted that in DVD2one, I got an error message about the file not being a valid DVD file or something like that. It was kinda weird. Not sure why.

That's true.

Quite often you can make them identical by stripping out unrequired audio streams.

I hate to be a burden, but what exactly qualifies as identical?

Identical is exactly as it means.

Video attributes the same (eg 720 x 576 PAL, auto letterbox only in both DVD projects)
Audio attributes the same and in the same slots (e.g. 5.1 Dolby English as first audio stream; 5.1 Spanish as second stream in both projects)
Subpicture attrributes the same in both projects.

Any one that's different will cause issue in seamless joining.
