First sorry for my bad english.

I have some ts files captured from my tv card.
When I demux de file with DGAVCIndex and then remux it with mkvmerge, the length of the video is not the same.
Chek this sample:

Did you set the correct frame rate when you remuxed it?

dedraks

Yes.
The frame rate is 29.97 or 30000/1001 fps.

Describe the length discrepancy and how you determined it.

Have you played the original and it was 1 minute long?

If you play the MKV is it also one minute long?

If so, then MediaInfo is making a mistake.

No,
The TS was 1:00 long.
The MKV was 1:54 long.

I'm thinking if the TS has variable fps. Is it possible? If yes, how can I manage this?

the problem is the audio part...

i remuxed the video only with eac3to and is 1min and 2sec

eac3to "BAND HD.ts" 1:video.mkv

the demuxed .aac is false recognized by mkvmerge as video stream...mp4box, eac3to, ffmpeg, mediainfo all give "unknown format"

@dedraks: And you answered these specific questions that your MKV is 1:54. You did not play it. It would have cost you 2 minutes.
You know, we can read. We noticed that the MKV is 1:54. But it's in your own interest to explain us what you did and to follow our suggestions. I'm out.

it seams that is a little confusion...the .ts posted is 1:03...after muxing in .mkv (using eac3to) is 1:02...if you demux using DGAVCIndex you get a .264 and an .aac...when you try to mux them in a .mkv with mkvmerge you get the double length problem....the .aac is false recognized by mkvmerge as video stream and it appends the .264 video stream!!!

It's because I uploaded the wrong file.
The mediainfo's output that I posted is from the following file:

I´m thinking that the lengh error is because the Interlacing method.
I´m not sure but I think the video uses a mix of MBAFF and PAFF.

Same problem here. I made a TS capture file (from Chile: ISDB-Tb) and have the same issue when muxing it into MKV with MKVMerge. It seems that the AAC audio file (demuxed with DGAVCIndex) isn't properly recognized due to LATM/LOAS container or something like that. DGAVCIndex shows a mix of MBAFF and PAFF frames when demuxing.

Related to that, I can't play the file with MPC or MPC-HC because it seems there's no splitter that recognize the LATM/LOAS container.

Greetings
