VCD wll not play

I have burnt several VCD's via ECD5 and after placing them in my Panasonic HT70 DVD it reads the disk, regognising it as VCD with duration time etc but will not play. I have played other VCD that I have been given, with author & burning software unknown, without any problems.
Any help please??
