I want change this video:

"Editing_of_Existing_Anime_[1920x1080,Blu-Ray,x264].mkv"

http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/4559/specs.gif

So that it will play on this device:

32-bit 733 MHz, Pentium III-based CPU AKA original xbox.

Problem:

I belive the original xbox simply does not have enough cpu to
process 1920x1080, correct?

Possible Solution:

Change it to 720x400 (or below), perhaps?

===========================================

(Ok, I'm not an expert but I have been here since the svcd
days.)

1. I've tried reducing the resolution with a program called
Handbreak. Quality is god awful in my opinion.

2. Also, I have used ConvertXtoDVD to convert it into a DVD
format and then auto gordian knot to change it into an XVID
avi. This produces pretty good results however I don't like
doing this, it's like xeroxing a copy of a copy.

3. Also, I have tried using a program called AVS Video
Converter 6. Again, not happy with the quality.

==========================================

My only criteria:

Any Codec
Any Container
Just has to play on a xbox1 and look decent on a regular non HD TV.

What is a good way to deal with this?

Re-encode from your original Blu-Ray, not the MKV that you made. How did you make the MKV?

Re-encode from your original Blu-Ray, not
the MKV that you made. How did you make the MKV?

The forum I posted to was:

Capturing and Editing Video ->
All about capturing (HD)TV, video, "and editing of existing video sources" ->
New and alternative a/v containers

I'm sure there are many helpful guides on how to encode
legally obtained blu-ray discs. I wasn't asking that. I was
asking how to modify pre-existing legally obtained content.

I apologize if this reply sounds sarcastic.

I can see you have over 16,000 posts and I am sure you have
helped many people. Do you have any other suggestions?

Is there no option to convert this in a semi professional way?

Thank You in Advance.

You can't evade a reasonable question about your source. Thread closed. Clarify in PM to me if you think the thread should be re-opened. I remind you of our rule 6.
