Video format Blu-Ray compliant ?

Hello.

I want to know if 1080p/25Hz and 1080p/29.97Hz are video format wich are blu-ray compliant ?
I remember having seen somewhere that maybe for 25Hz and or 29.97Hz, only 1080i is Blu-Ray compliant.

If someone can please confirm what it is exactly.

Neither of those are.

These are compliant:
1080i/60 as in 60 fields per second
1080p/24
1080p/23.976

No kidding !!!!!!!! There is nothing with 25Hz or 50Hz ??? Not even 1080i/50 ??
My video recorder (AVCHD) make 1080i/50... That's strange.

1080i/50 is valid , but for some reason 1080p25 is not.

Having said that, you can make a disc, and some players will play things out of spec

I think where things get confusing is that when you import 1080p25 footage into Cinevision, you have to give a field order to import - it won't let you import as progressive.

But when you encode with AVC, you set whether the footage should be encoded 'field' or 'frame'.

So I guess you can 'kind of' create 1080p25 footage, it's just that it is 1080i50 flagged as frames. When you create IGs in Scenarist the framerates available for 1080 are:

23.976fps
24fps
25fps
29.97fps

Where can i find a complete list of what is blu-ray compliant ?
I mean, for all the vertical video size (480,576,720,1080), what are the horizontal size possible, what frame rate is possible, and what in mean of i/p is possible.
So, if someone know where i can find all these data, i'm interested.
