I'll be as short as possible.

I have:
- an 30 second avi file (video+audio stream)
- a 58 second audio file

I would like:
an avi file:
- Video: the above video played twice (for 60 seconds)
- Audio: a merge of the video's audio (twice) and the audio file.

I am pretty comfortable handling the sound (audacity does this nice), but what program would you recommend I use to rebuild everything? I would like to preferably not re-encode the video stream, if at all possible.

Thank you for your input

1. Load AVI into VirtualDub.
2. Click "append segment" and add the video again.
3. Audio -> save WAV.
4. Load WAV into Audacity, and merge your other audio file.
5. In VirtualDub, video -> direct stream copy, Audio -> wav source (the merged file)/
6. Save new AVI.
