guys although i have been a member here from one year , but i have been repeatedly suggested to start in newbies...

so here i am ..
i am not able to use megui at all :P
i have searched and norticed that the updates of x264 builds are not compatible with the gui interface i mean megui..

can any onebe kind enough to guide which exe version of megui i should download
which server addresses i should add in update section
and which build of x264 i should use to get good results when i ll rip my DVDs..

people are saying to disable b pyramid and also adding weightp 1 options in the com, mand line..

so please someone recommend me the most stable version of megui build and the compatible x264 build so that i dont have to do any tweaking to do encoding and get best results.

also please please enlighten me over temporal denoise - how to use that option and when to use it ...
coz i have heard it can be used to enhance the quality even better than the source.

regards

Glenn

Use the patched version that I linked you to in the other thread, and follow the instructions in quantumsuicide's post. This has already been explained several times over. In addition, always use the latest x264 available from x264.nl. This isn't difficult.
