NTSC or PAL?

HI, I'm as much of a newb as there is. Can someone tell me how to tell if a dvd is NTSC or PAL, please? I have found several conversations that discuss the differing resolutions, tinting, etc. but I only want to know how to tell the difference on my pc. Thanks!!

When you buy it, read the packaging and/or disc label - then you won't have to concern yourself with "how to tell the difference on you pc"...
