StaxRip and RipBot264

I have noticed that files that are made with StaxRip are much smaller than those files created by Ripbot. This is for the same framesize, same framerate, same audio encoding and -crf set to 22.

MediaInfo said Video for the StaxRip is 484MB and Ripbot is 651MB; both with -crf 22.

Any ideas why?

I add sharpen(0.2) after resize in order to enhance fine details. Default Spline36Resizer is too soft for me. Some people cannot even tell difference between 720p and 1080p after this trick :)
