Which version of flask are u using ?

If you must use flask, I strongly recommend 0.6 with the subtitles fix.

Or use the new Xmpeg. I encoded Farinelli, and I choose the english subtitles.

Xmpeg did it just perfectly. no problems whatsoever.

good luck!

Yes Xmpeg works fine most of the time.
My primary objection to the thing is that the user interface is butt ugly.

Also it's been my experience that xmpeg4.2a will fail to notice when the 0X80 subtitles stream is empty, this means that it mispredicts the position of all the subtitle streams, and you will be unable to select the last one.

Flask0.6 with the subtitles fix does not suffer from this problem.

Hmmm.

I haven't experimented with enough vids that i use subtitles on.

I don't think I can help you out any more.

let me know what your findings produce, i would like to know!
