Where did you get the file and what is in it?

with that kind of data rate it is probably uncompressed (though 4:2:2 uncompressed comes in a bit smaller, and 4:4:4 uncompressed comes in a bit larger. probably it's 10-bit 4:2:2).

try a fourCC changer (remember to write down what the old one was!) and change it to "v210", then try again. if the codecs you've installed don't work, try install the AJA kona codecs (google) and see if that works.

google isn't giving me any love as far as "N80" is concerned - it thinks it's a type of mobile phone.

Use some free file splitter software to split the file in 5, 10, 15 MB chunks, whatever size you want, start it, wait until a couple of those small files are generated, copy the first in a separate location, then cancel the file splitting process...

for example this tool i actually wrote myself http://www.helpedia.com/programming/projects/file_splitter.php

to: Mug Funky :
AVI FourCC Changer v1.00 (open source) . Is that version ?
I must try to use it,thanks。
But why I found that the result of the AJA kona codecs from the google is in Mac, not for windows xp or windows 7?

to :mariush
free file splitter cannot run in windows 7 without the msstdfmt.dll(I download it and put it in the system32 folder and reg it,but this software cannt run under the windows 7),so I try the ArduoFileSplitter to split it in 6M.

@Stephen R. Savage

Hi!Last time I checked, Chinese was not Japanese and Japanese was not the national language of China. And the last time I checked, it was not the best idea to use sarcasm to publicly correct a moderator.

(You could have made the same observation in a polite manner)

BTW - Which dialect was used?

I opened part one of your file in a hex editor, aside from a bit of junk, its all 0's.

There was some stuff at the end of the 2nd file when looking in a hex editor. I couldn't download the 1st file

Maybe something went wrong when "splitting" the segments?

Why can't you contact them? If you don't give a straight answer about the origin of this video, the thread will be closed and rule 6 applied.
