So if you see my post here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1341685#post1341685, you will read of the problems I am having with Groundhog Day.
I am having the exact same problems with Ghostbusters. Both movies are Columbia Pictures-Sony Pictures releases.
I now just tried my rebuild of Groundhog Day in a Samsung BD player and it worked perfectly.
I have been successful in rebuilding and playing Monsters vs. Aliens and The Dark Knight as BD25 full movies and playing in my Panasonic DMP-BD35.
If you go to this post, this person looks like they are having similar issues http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1339250#post1339250 but with a Warner Brothers release (but my Dark Knight worked perfect-another Warner Bros. release).
There is concern that it is just a player compatibility issue.
My question is: could it be that there is something different in the menu structure of the Columbia Pictures releases that prevent BD-RD working on all players?
jdobbs - is it possible to analyze the menu structure of Groundhog Day to see if they are doing anything funky to prevent it working in a Panasonic? Or maybe RD-RB is not handling the menu quite right. I would be happy to send you any of the workfiles to help solve the problem.
Hopefully, jdobbs, you feel this is worth the time investigating. I know that you have a life and I do appreciate your efforts on this program so far since it is the only of its kind at this point!!
Thanks for your attention.
