MP4 taxes, fees

Hi guys,

I'm working for a non profit organization and I'm trying to find out what taxes, licenses or other fee does my company have to pay so we can use MP4 video files (h264 and aac/aac+) in our products. Any hint is greatly appreciated.

I think the mp4 container is publicly available.

There is no need to tax or license it. Its just a video format/container.

For distributing video online, there is currently no fee, but starting in 2010 there will be.

Do you have a link to some resource regarding this?

EDIT: Ok, I found info regarding the licensig of H.264 and AAC. My only concern right now is: if there are any royalties for using the MP4 container format? (I need some document on this so I can prove it further)
